PLATFORM SCREEN DOORS/GATES

CENELAC SIL2 - Half and Full Height Platform Screen Doors/Gates made of High-Quality Aluminium Alloys/Stainless Steel SS-316 with transparent glass and a robust door sliding system along with the automatic control and operation unit interfaced using CENELAC SIL-4 device with platform signalling.

FEATURES OF PLATFORM SCREEN DOORS/GATES SYSTEM

  • PSD/ PSG are equipped with SIL-3 Automatic Operation unit, Platform supervisory Local panel and Platform Supervisory Alarm Panel for door status to Platform Supervisor Controller And Train Drivers.
  • It is a physical separation between the platform and train to ensure safety of commuters.
  • It reduces train noise and maintains better environmental energy saving control.
  • It is interfaceable with existing train operation using RFID as well as signalling system AFTC through SIL 4 hardwired interface panel.
  • PSD/PSG is equipped with ASD, EED, FP, MSD for Metro Train Operation

Main Components of Platform Screen Doors/Gates System.

  • Sliding Type Platform Screen Doors/Gates are manufactured with High Quality Aluminium Alloys with transparent glass and a robust door sliding system.
  • Header Box contains a drive mechanism for sliding door operation which is controlled by using SIL2 Door Control Unit, a solenoid based locking system equipped with reliable  sensors, BLDC motor and a feedback mechanism for door status.
  • Local Control Panel is provided at both sides of platform for driver access to platform screen door control operation in case of any malfunction/train breakdown.
  • Emergency Exit and Manual Secondary Doors/Gates  are provided with access control and feed back mechanism for emergency passenger evacuation or maintenance.
  • Automatic Operation Unit is provided to centrally monitor and control all door operations which are interfaced with driver cab of rolling stock through existing signalling system using hardwired SIL4 interface panel. (RF interface is optional).
  • Platform Supervisory Alarm Panel is provided for Indication of all doors operation status to the platform supervisor and is capable of raising audio visual alarm in case of any malfunction.
